I’ve built and run a handful of companies over the years. I’ve been in the service world — I know what it’s like to deal with people all day, to answer the phone when you’d rather be working, to watch a good lead slip away because you were up a ladder. Building this was honestly a dream of mine: to take everything I’ve learned and hand the little guy a way to compete with the big boys. The less friction between you and a paying customer, the better your life gets. That’s the whole idea.

Automating the tedious stuff isn’t new to me, either. Years ago I was dealing with radioactive-materials reporting for the Department of Environmental Protection — government paperwork, the most tedious work imaginable, the kind of thing that eats your week and should obviously be done by a machine. So I automated it, back when that was hard to do. This company is me bringing those old skills into the future — same instinct, far better tools — to make life easier for everyone.

And here’s the bottom line: a system like this would have cost you $10,000 a month not long ago — if you could get it at all. Now it’s yours at a fraction of that price, with better technology than the big guys had.
